Narrowboat Day Trip on River Wey - August 2011

"A really lovely day out!  This seems to be becoming an annual event and one that I will happily rebook.  A great combination of a relaxed day, team work through the locks and beautiful scenery .... plus cake!  What more could you want"

"Lovey trip - very relaxing, good boats and entertaining staff who went through everything, weather held good for the whole day and it was an excellent picnic lunch/snacks. Would recommend this trip to anyone. Only thing I would change (personal preference) would be to go further up/down the river...we ended up having to slow right down on the return trip so we didn't arrive back too early, and I would like to have been able to see a bit more of the river, but not sure if thats practical."

"This event was a really nice relaxing way to spend a day. The stretch of river from Farncombe to Guildford is very pretty and not overcrowded with only three locks to navigate. We stopping in Guildford and had a picnic lunch with good food and wine. I recommend as it was really nice day out."

"thoroughly enjoyed this very chilled out day on the River Wey passing through beautiful meadows filled with wild flowers and the occasional cow herd. Everybody was at hand to either drive the boat, open locks, make the teas and coffee. Stopped just outside Guildford for lunch where the 2 boats that were hired anchored at a picnic area. Luckily we had good weather and the boats had all the comforts of home. Would thoroughly recommend event."
