Walking Weekend Isle of Portland - Feb 2011
"Coastal walking along some of Englands most interesting coastline Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and the Fossil Forest and on day two the isle of Portland with its Lighthouse and rich industrial heritage - the stone from here was used to build some of Londons finest buildings St Pauls, Buckingham Palace , Palace of Westminster (houses of Parliament) and the Cenotaph - and many others. The hotel resturaunt has stunning views across to Weymouth and chesil beach. Service in the hotel is good and the dinners were served hot. Plenty of parking Rooms are clean and comfortable, showers in bathroom work very well. The walkwise guides were excellent, as usually."
