Well organsied event, found the palace very interesting plus audio guide is good and reliable. It was a shame the Royal Faberge exhibition was so crowded and slow moving, they could sped it up if they tried (like the Crown Jewels at Tower of London). The art was very interesting and some of the old furniture fascinating. Tea was very good at the hotel but they thought we were booked for 3.30pm and as some arrived at hotel at about 2.15pm could have been quite a wait. However balance of the group showed up by 3pm and the hotel had no problem in serving tea in the Terrace Room at 3pm. Unlimited food at tea and very good service.

It was a really enjoyable day with good company. This is a good year to go to Buckingham Palace because there is the added interest of that wedding dress. It would help people to know that they don't need to rush to go around the palace because if you get into the garden too early the exit is not that far past the shop and you are not allowed to walk back to the shop or even to the toilets once you have passed them! This might mean that you spend a while stuck at the exit waiting for people. It only takes 20 minutes max to walk to the exit from the palace.

The Buckingham Palace tour itself was absolutely marvellous and was very well organised. However, there was a bit too much time after the tour before the tea at the Royal Horse Guards Hotel. The tea was advertised as 3pm but was booked for 3.30pm so it was a long time without food! The tea was good but the small selection of cakes was disappointing!
Excellent day out, very enjoyable; well worth going!
