Please try to make your bookings as soon as possible. You are
welcome to book friends onto a maximum of TWO events. It would assist if you could let us
have the names for your guests at the time of booking. You can ring the office to check
availability or if you have any questions or need further information.

The on-line booking system has recently been updated and now has a
‘shopping basket’ function. To go into the Booking System you should click on
'ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM' (above). This includes all the event details including cost,
availability and how many slots are available. Please be aware that the slots will change
depending on demand and there are also events which we share with other Spice Groups.
Some helpful pointers
Logging in & Passwords
To use the Online Booking System, you will need your six-digit
membership number (including preceding zeros) as well as a password. To get your password,
you should click on the "Forgotten/Need Your Password" option on the Member
Login screen. This will open a new window. Enter your Membership ID and click the
"Send Password" button. The system will allocate a random password and send it
to your email address. Please note that the system can only email your password if we have
your current email address on our database. If you do not have an email address you can
click on “Copy to Office” and your password will be emailed to us, ring the
office and we will tell you what it is. To update us with your email address, send an
email to spicelondons@btinternet.com or call us on 01784 497070.
Changing your Password
Once you have logged in with your password, you can change it to
suit you. To change your password, click the "My Details" button. This will show
details of your bookings and below that provide a link to "Change My Password".
What is the "Remember Me" for?
If you tick this box, the system will store information (using a
'cookie') on you computer so that you don't have to re-type your membership ID and
password each time you want to login to the system. This requires cookies to be enabled
within your browser. We do not recommend that you use this option if anyone else has
access to your PC.
What if an event is full
If an event is full, it will have a flashing "Wait List
Only" icon next to it and there will be a "Add Wait List" button instead of
the usual "Book Event" button. If you click this option, the system will add the
event to your shopping basket, but it will not take any money for the event, as you will
just be added to the Wait List.
Credit Notes
If we have issued you with a credit note you can use it when you
"go to checkout". The system automatically calculates how much you owe for the
events you have booked. If you have a credit note, please enter the number here. If you
don't have any credit notes, PLEASE LEAVE THIS SPACE BLANK.
Vouchers
If you want to use “Money Off” vouchers against an event
please ring the office to book it. Unfortunately the online booking system cannot handle
vouchers.
"My Details"
Using the "My Details" button at the bottom of the Event
Availability screen, you can see details of all the events that you have outstanding. Here
is an example:
- A green "BOOK" icon means that you are booked on this
event.
- A red "CANC" icon indicates that your booking on this
event has been cancelled, either by you or by Spice
- A "Wait List Only" icon indicates that you have been
added to the Wait List for an event that is full. NB Spice will not have charged you for
this event. If a place on this event becomes available, we will contact you to enquire if
you still want to go on the event. If you do, we will require payment by debit or credit
card before we can confirm your booking on the event. If you are on the wait list, there
is no obligation to book that event if a place becomes available.
- An orange "Pending" icon indicates that you have booked
this event, but we have not yet processed your booking onto our database. Please note that
your booking is not confirmed until you see the green "BOOK" icon in the status
column.
